8 Different Ways to Wear Your Long Sleeve Oversize'd Button Down/Up Shirts....

So I played around a little bit..

I got out of my comfort zone (behind the scenes) and got a little #StyleInspo from one of my favs on IG @ieshathegr8!

Between her, Pinterest, and Google there are probably about a zillion ways to wear your long sleeve oversized button down/up shirts.

I think that it's neat how versatile these shirts can be. You're able to dress them up or down - - with heels, sandals, tennis shoes, etc.

You can add accessories such as brooches, hats, jewelry, you name it! The list goes on and on.

But N-T-Hoo... Here's 8 quick different ways to style your shirt.

 Let's get into the deets...

Style #1

With this style I am basically wearing the shirt as a dress.

You can always take it a step further and roll the sleeves up or unbutton the shirt to about the third button and wear it off of one or both shoulders too.

Style #2

I paired the shirt with some black biker shorts and decided to wear it was a shirt. I unbuttoned the last 2 or 3 buttons and just tucked one side in the shorts and left the other side out.

I think that this would look good with cut off denim shorts, flare leg jeans, or skinny jeans as well.

Style #3

So, it's safe to say that this one is my favorite one of the 8 styles that I am showing today. It seems like this one is hard, but it's really easy. This style works really good with a strapless bra!

First put only one arm in the shirt.

With the empty sleeve take it and bring it across your breast.

Take the sleeve and tuck it in under or over the side of your strapless bra under your arm area. (I tucked mine over the side.)

Once that is secure take the two bottom sections of the shirt and double tie it up under your breast. After you tie it, you can tuck the ends under the front of your shirt or bra.

and voilà... MAGIC!

Style #4

With this style I turned the shirt into a faux skirt. (I have some tan biker shorts on underneath.)

The first step is to take the shirt and open it.

Place the shirt around your waist and button maybe one or two buttons. You want to have the buttons on the side to create the illusion of a high split.

Take the sleeves and double tie them.

And now you have a high split midi skirt.

Style #5

With this style do not put your arms in the sleeves. Button your shirt to a comfortable position around your breast.

Then take both the sleeves and double tie them.

You can leave as many buttons unbuttoned as you like.

Style #6

With this style do not put your arms in the sleeves. Button your shirt to a comfortable position around your breast. (Just like in Style #5.)

Make sure that you only button about 2 - 3 buttons.

Then take both the sleeves and the rest of the shirt & double tie them high under your breast.

 Style #7

With this style do not put your arms in the sleeves. Button your shirt to a comfortable position around your breast. (Just like in Style #5.)

Make sure that you only button about 2 - 3 buttons.

Take the sleeves and cross them in the front & then tie them around your neck.

Take the bottom of the shirt and tie and tuck it under the front.

 Style #8

With this style do not put your arms in the sleeves. Button your shirt to a comfortable position around your breast. (Just like in Style #5.)

Make sure that you only button about 2 - 3 buttons.

Take the sleeves and cross them in the front & then tie them around your neck.
